Biography
Dr. Ali combines his passion for exceptional eye care with a commitment to uniting communities through better vision. Originally from Connecticut and raised in New Mexico, he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science from McGill University and earned a place on the Dean's Honor List at the University of Alabama at Birmingham's School of Optometry.
In 2010 he completed a residency at the Salem VA Medical Center specializing in ocular disease, and he continues to serve veterans in Salem and Henry County, Virginia.
Settled in Southwest Virginia — a region he considers the most welcoming place he has ever lived — Dr. Ali delivers health-focused optometric care with expertise and warmth. Outside the office he enjoys life with his wife, a fellow optometrist, and their two daughters.
