Vision plan or medical plan?
A routine exam to update your glasses or contacts is usually billed to your vision plan. An exam for a medical concern — dry eye, an infection, glaucoma monitoring, or a diabetic eye evaluation — is generally billed to your medical insurance, even if it happens on the same day.
Our billing team will explain which applies to your visit before you check out, so there are no surprises.
No insurance?
We see self-pay patients and will quote your exam cost up front. Sunbit monthly payments can spread the cost of exams and eyewear over time.
