Biography
Southwest Virginia is home to Dr. Neysa Allen. She grew up in Franklin County and graduated from Mary Baldwin College with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology, then received her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry.
Dr. Allen has practiced primary care optometry in the Roanoke Valley for over twenty years and actively participates in the post-operative care of her cataract and LASIK patients. Having served as Clinical Director at TLC Roanoke, she is a certified LASIK consultant and continues her interest in refractive surgery.
She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Virginia Optometric Association, and her local optometric society. She attends Sandy Ridge Baptist Church in Rocky Mount and enjoys working out, traveling with her husband Lewis, and being in the kitchen.
